Este frecvent auzit si mult prea usor, de astazi pentru asa-numita "scena" sa pretinda ca punkerii rasisti sunt un fel de noua si bizara aparitie, luand in considerare modul in alb si partinitoare istoria punk a fost pana in acest moment. Un album plin de ritm, energie, viata si buna-dispozitie. Scurt, simplu, la obiect, fara aberatii si rataciri instrumentale inutile. Si, peste toate, vocea excelenta a solistei Becky Ellian si versurile ei inteligente, vioaie, inventive. Cele 35 de minute ale albumului sunt mai mult decat destul pentru ca aceasta tanara trupa, Dekadens, sa demonstreze ce poate.Dincolo de aceste aprecieri ramane impresia ca Dekadens s-au grabit un pic cand au lansat acest album - desi piesele sunt excelente si sunt...

Cand am pagina alba in fata si stau sa ma uit la ea mai mult de 5 minute mancand compulsiv dintr-o punga de pufuleti, e grav. Se numeste ca nu am idei. Dar cand ideile se invalmasesc in capul meu si totusi stau in fata paginii albe mancand compulsiv dintr-o punga de pufuleti, este de-a dreptul frustrant. Inca din dimineata zilei de 23 iulie, am tras cu ochiul si urechea de pe terasa cladirii unde lucrez la mersul treburilor pe stadionul Cotroceni..pe la pranz s-au auzit ceva probe de sunet, batai de tobe (eu: hey Lars, how's goin'?:)) ), dup-aia ceva acorduri de ghitari si cateva cuvinte spuse de Hetfield (parca am auzit un Hell yeah, da nu bag mana in foc, o fi fost numa entuziasmul meu).Deja incepand cu ora pranzului in zona incepusera sa misune zeci de metalisti cu tricourile negre aferente..entuziasmul...

Nimic din agitatia, oboseala (acuta), nelinistea si tensiunea de vineri seara nu putea sa-mi sugereze ce avea sa urmeze. Eram stresata cu multe adunate peste saptamana, agitata si nelinistita ca amicul meu care trebuia sa-mi dea o statie de sonorizare pentru petrecerea fratelui meu nu imi raspundea la telefon, terminata psihic de ideea ca nu imi gaseam cardul (de salariu!), nu stiam daca l-am uitat la un magazin sau l-am pierdut, iar perspectiva umblatului dupa unul nou m-a facut sa nu dorm toata...

What I forgot to mention in the other post was that there were quite a few bands I was pumped up to see at Nova and canceled - Mad Caddies, for example. If you guys are reading this, I'm really pissed at you canceling out, no matter the reasons. Go write a nice tune in exchange for my frustration. Moving on.Day 2 - I'm up, no headache, excited, the sun's kinda shining, the tents are so close to one another that we barely have any space to eat, drink and lay around, but it's all good. Un mecanism inevitabil se pune in functiune ori de cate ori o melodie noua ajunge la urechile mele. Ma concentrez, fara doar si poate, asupra acelor franturi care o particularizeaza, care imi raman intiparite si care imi creeaza senzatii diferite, de la emotie, entuziasm, la neliniste sau disconfort... dar, in paralel, se intampla si asocierea sunetelor cu locuri si oameni care au determinat prezenta lor in viata mea.
