"January Jam blues"; is a collaborative work; jazz-poet Valery Oisteanu and composer David Cieri on piano create a world of jazzoetry, a unique collage of slow-fast musical arrangements and avant-garde spoken-word staccatos. Selected poems are inflected by jazz riffs and blues-structured compositions. The "Yin-Yang Gang" takes the audience on a sophisticated incursion into the subconscious domain of surreal dreams, erotica/neurotica and repressed desires' resolution.
