E mai kitchoasa muzica asta decat orice alta incercare de a combina fortat genuri muzicale diferite, fara sa intelegi particularitatile culturale din spatele fiecarui gen? E mai kitchoasa decat neo-classical metal, de pilda (scuze, Yngwie, dar un iubitor de muzica clasica nu prea are cum sa guste asta)?...

Beethoven dedicated this sonata to one of his students, the Duchess Th r se von Brunswick (she might be the one for whom F r Elise was written too). So this is perhaps how Beethoven sounds when he s in love. Happy listening:

We don t know much about this sonata. Apart from the obvious fact that it has only two movements, that is, and the historic evidence pointing to 1804 as the year when it was written. Anyway, you might want to listen to it, so here we go:

This one is perhaps one of the most famous piano sonatas composed by Beethoven, being used for the soundtrack of several movies, the titles of which we can t remember right now. Apart from being famous, it is quite good, so we think you ll have a nice listening. Enjoy!

Beethoven s 13th piano sonata has also got a name: "Quasi una fantasia";. This is actually an indication written by Ludwig on the front of his score - "like a fantasy";. Some say this is because this composition doesn t have a regular sonata structure. We like to think this is how Beethoven s thinking sounded like when...

This one is also called Funeral March (probably due to it s third part). Gramo thinks the second part of the sonata sounds quite modern. It s just an impression, but we would like to know what do you think.
