A little bit late I admit, but this is one of those RA Podcasts that are you are not allowed to miss. RA described it as "Bulgarian acid: The leading light of house and techno in Sofia gets raw."; and I couldn t have said it better myself. One of the nicest e-mails I received in my inbox this fall came from Lars Bjarno personally, one of the boys at Djuma Soundsystem telling me what a great time they had when they played in Bucharest 2 weekends ago and thanking the public for being so much fun. It s been only a few days since the last Mustang post, but I really can t get enough of these guys. Luni Headman, miercuri Munk. Pare ca ne invartim in cercul Gomma, dar asta e valabil doar pe jumatate, si nume in cazul lui Munk, marele boss de la label-ul tocmai mentionat. Noul sau EP intitulat La Musica a iesit saptamana trecuta si este ticsit de remix-uri unul mai bun ca altul dintre care se remarca cele ale lui Mercury si Tiago, dar si variantele Audiojack si Shir Khan sunt de mare impact si ca sa spun drept nici cu varianta originala nu mi-e rusine. Un mix foarte nou si foarte bun al elvetienilor Mercury, un duo aparut de curand si care ne-a impresionat pe toti cu remix-urile lor geniale pentru Le Le , Steed Lord , Filewile sau Metal on Metal . Asteptam cu nerabdare productiile proprii ce cu siguranta urmeaza sa apara in curand :)

In ultimile luni, Made to Play si-a stabilit foarte clar locul in zona mai saltareata a muzicii de dans, managerul Jesse Rose si Riva Starr scotand cel putin o data pe luna acolo. Cu Renaissance Man treaba sta putin altfel. E oficial saptamana mixtape-urilor de mai, iar astazi am avut ocazia sa ascult unul dintre putinele mix-uri (daca nu chiar singurul) pe care Ilya Santana l-a scos pana acum. Pe langa asta spaniolul a scos nu de mult timp un nou EP intitulat Burning Jupiter la Eskimo si probabil ca o sa auzim mult mai multe din partea sa vara aceasta.

Chiar daca are deja trei luni, inca continua sa ma impresioneze la fiecare vizionare. Un superb remix ce nu are nici cea mai mica treaba cu piesa originala si un videoclip autohton de cea mai buna calitate. Cititi descrierea clipului pe vimeo si veti intelege de ce ;)

Dupa aproape o luna intreaga de absenta (cutremure, tornade, laptop in service, rokolectiv si altele) pentru care trebuie sa imi cer public scuze, revin in forta cu un mixtape ai preferatilor acestei primaveri, Mustang. Cosy Mozzy si Andy Faisca au pus la cap un mix incredibil, un blend intre disco si house cum nu am auzit de mult timp. Vara lui 2010 le apartine, asteptam cu si mai mult intere!

Cum tot ma plangeam eu zilele trecute ca saptamana asta nu avem unde sa iesim (cel putin undeva sa merite), am aflat ca Logan este principalul protagonist intr-o sera de "dub-house disco"; (asa zice flyerul) ce va avea loc in Frame sambata aceasta. Intrarea este libera, cocktail-urile sunt la fel de bune ca la Ota, iar Logan este printre putinii care chiar stiu muzica! Asadar sambata asta ne vedem la Frame ca sa nu va pierdeti timpul prin alte parti!
